Compassion Mercy Sin

Their fall could have been mine

By on October 22, 2020

Prisoners of Bolivia, even Saint Peter and Saint Paul had been prisoners. I have a special relationship with people in prisons, deprived of their freedom. I have always been very attached to them, precisely because of my awareness of being a sinner. I always think: Why them and not me? Their fall could have been mine. I do not feel superior to the people who stand before me.

The Lord does not want us to keep thinking about our failings. He wants us to look to Him. In our failings He sees children to help up; in our misery He sees children in need of His merciful love. #DivineMercy
